The city of Fresno activates cooling centers when temperatures of 105 degrees or hotter are forecast.   Click on the link above, or call the city’s One-Call Center at (559) 621-2489 to find the cooling center closest to you. Free transportation to cooling centers is provided by the city’s FAX bus system; just advise the driver which cooling center you are traveling to.

 
Fresno County

The Fresno County Office of Emergency Services uses the United Way 211 system to provide information on cooling center locations; just dial 211 and ask for the cooling center nearest you.
