CLOVIS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

Description: Housing improvement program provides no interest deferred loans up to $25,000 to qualified low-income homeowners who live in the city of Clovis. $2,000 grants for Mobile Home Park homeowners 60 years and older for health and safety needs (one time only). House painting, yard care and clean up, exterior window washing June through August for senior 60 years and older.

FRESNO CITY HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Description: Program is for owner/occupants who reside in the city of Fresno. Qualified low-income elderly may request interest free loans to upgrade their homes. Eligibility based on income, equity, debt to income ratio. White Picket Fence program available to 60 years and older owner/occupants who reside in the city of Fresno who may qualify.

FRESNO COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Description: Housing assistance rehabilitation program for owner occupied homes meeting qualifications. Low to moderate-income homeowners, Fresno County residents. Will loan total market value of home at 0% interest.  Minimum payment of $100.00 per month.

Description: Calls only, no client visits.  Screen callers for verifiable crisis.  Services include local transportation, visitation, auto mechanics, appliance repair, home maintenance, shopping, food delivery, painting, moving, nutrition counseling, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, yard

work, budget planning, emergent medical and dental care. All volunteer program.

RURAL HOUSING SERVICE (Rural Economic & Community Development)

Description: Home repair grants (for those over 62) and loans (for those under 62), living in a rural area, 50% of median income, and unable to pay for repairs with non-Rural Housing Service Credit. (Madera number covers Madera, Mariposa and Merced Counties).

Description: Painting and minor repairs of homes of low-income seniors, 62 and older. Must be owner occupied. No charge.  Must be prepared to show proof of ownership, proof of income, and picture ID. Fresno City only.

Description: Independent workers available for

housekeeping yard work, simple repairs, personal

errands, but no roof repair.
